Dad & Dancer Opening Dance: Sign-up Deadline – March 14
An annual recital opening dance tradition and a crowd favorite – sign-up and join the fun! This dance is to honor the father figure in your dancer’s life; all are welcome – dad, grandparent, uncle, adult brother, family friend and open to Lynn & Jen’s students of all ages. There is a one-time $100.00 fee per family; no costume required. Rehearsals will begin in March and are held two-three times a month on Saturday afternoons.

Saturdays, April 12 & 19 (guys only) 1:30-2:20
Saturdays, May 3, 17, & 31 (all) 1:30-2:30
Saturday, June 7 (all) 1:30-2:30

Closing Dance: Sign-up Deadline (Ages 13+) – March 22
The closing dance is the final dance in our annual recital. There is a one-time $100 fee and costume required (up to $80.00). Rehearsals will begin in March, and are held on Wednesday nights.

Peek Week

In-Person Peek Week: April 6-11, 2025
Classes are closed to keep our students focused on the teachers, so we invite and encourage families and friends to watch your dancers’ progress during our “Peek” weeks.

Picture Day

Picture Day 
May 10, 2025 A professional photographer will be at the studio for this season, and both individual and group picture options will be available.  Class pictures will be taken and proudly displayed in the waiting room next year.  Note: No classes will be held that day.

Recital & Dress Rehearsal Dates

All classes except ballet technique and kicks, turns and leaps have recital dances that are performed in one show.  Location & dates will be announced as soon as the school confirms.  The estimated price per ticket is $40.

Location:  Burlington High School

Dress Rehearsals: Monday, June 9 & Wednesday, June 11

Recital: Sunday, June 15

Show time: 1:00pm

Things to know

Vacation and Snow Days
We typically follow the Arlington public school vacation and holiday calendar.

If the Arlington schools have a snow day or close early, the studio will be closed. If school is not cancelled, but weather conditions are poor, there are 4 ways to check for studio closures:

Make-up classes will be available beginning in May for any classes missed due to holidays and snow days.
